Where are you located?
We are located in Orem Utah. We are a "tow away" rental company allowing you the freedom to visit any suitable lake of your choice.
 
Why should I rent from you?
We rent the best maintained equipment available in the nation! Our boats include up to 11 life jackets, others charge $5.00 per life jacket. Our boats come with two anchors, a marine radio, fire extinguisher, spare plugs, four fender buoys, two docking ropes; I pod adapter, paddle, and ski flag! We simply give more for less!
 
Is my deposit applied to my total price?
Yes. You reserve the boat usually at 100 dollars per day, in advance. When you pick up your boat the deposit is applied too your total amount due. We authorize your card for 2000 dollars for any damage that could be sustained. The deposit is authorized only, we do not actually take any money unless you return the boat with damage.
 
Do I need insurance coverage for rental equipment?
Insurance is not required, but is recommended. You can contact your current insurance provider to get options for your rental period.
 
What is required to rent equipment?
Renters are required to meet the following conditions.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Renter must be at least 23 years of age.
Renter must be present at time of pickup.
Valid credit card is required.
 
I am unfamiliar with driving, loading and unloading a boat, do you offer instruction?
Yes! Plan on an additional 1-2 hrs for boat instruction (30-60 min on the lake). (We use Utah Lake) Instruction is complementary. If you are new to boating, this is a great idea; we show you how to set up a proper wake for all the various sports and help you load and unload the boat. Once the check out is complete you are not required to do it again for additional rentals.

How long do I need to plan for the boat pick up “checkout process”?
Typically this takes about one and a half hours. We thoroughly explain boat operations and inventory equipment film boat condition. If you have rented with us in the past it will be substantially faster.
 
Can I send a friend to pick up equipment for me?
Sorry but no, renter must be present at time of pick up to verify boat condition and sign rental contract.

Can I beach my rental boat?
Sorry we do NOT allow boats to be beached. I you are looking for a boat to beach try most onsite rental companies.
Beaching is any contact of boat hull to land.
We videotape boat condition with renter prior to checkout to protect renter from any previous damage.
 
What time can I pick up and drop off my equipment.
You can pickup rental equipment as early as 6:00 am
Equipment is due back by 6:00 pm the last day of rental.
Early pickup is available the night before for $100 charge (dependent on rental schedule) Call for availability.
Arrangements can be made for a late return. Call prior to schedule.

What is your cancellation policy?
The security deposit to reserve rental equipment is non-refundable.
Some exceptions may apply when cancellation of a reservation can be substituted for a new reservation. In this case, Freedom Recreation Rentals llc. will reimburse up to 50% of the original reservation.
If the product reserved was damaged by a previous renter, Freedom Recreation Rentals llc. will do all possible to fix the equipment on time, if the equipment is still not available due to previous damage, a full refund will be given of the deposit.

What size ball hitch and light adapter is required for boat towing?
All boats require a standard 2” ball, and use a standard four pin light plug-in. We recommend a V-6 or larger motor to pull all boats with.
Our boat trailers have "surge breaks" that automatically break the trailer when you decelerate your vehicle.
 
Do you require a security deposit?
Boats require a $2000 security deposit due at rental checkout. Cash or major credit card is required for security deposit. We authorize the deposit only. Meaning we authorize up to $2000 dollars additional to your total price for any damages sustained.
 
What is the required age to rent equipment?
Renter must be at least 23 years old. Verified by drivers license.
 
What is the tax rate I am required to pay?
We are located in Utah county, local sales tax, and recreation vehicle tax is a total of 9.5%, this will be applied at the time of vehicle pickup.
